MOUNT PLEASANT - Robert "Bob" William Harms, 70, passed away on Friday, January 2, 2026 at his residence.

Bob was born on September 20, 1955 to William and Kathleen (nee: Pfister) Harms in Sheboygan. Bob graduated from Sheboygan South High School. He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and went on to graduate with a business degree from UW-Milwaukee. He was united in marriage on June 30, 1990 to Cheryl "Cheri" Kroneberg at St. James Parish in Menomonee Falls.

Bob was employed at Mainline, where he met his wife, Cheri. He was later employed at Applied Industrial Technologies and Allied Bearings Corporation before he retired. Bob was a lover of music, movies, and a big fan of all Wisconsin-based sports. He also enjoyed golfing with friends, cooking for his family, and gardening flowers and vegetables with Cheri. He was a great husband, father, brother, neighbor, and friend.

Bob will be dearly missed by his son, David (Emily) Harms; brothers, Steve (Sharon) and Andy; father-in-law, James (Carol) Kroneberg; brothers-in-law, Jeff (Cindi) and Kevin (Dawn) Kroneberg; and sister-in-law Kelly (Mike) Bowen. He is survived by nephews, nieces, other relatives, and many friends. Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Cheri; his father, William; his mother, Kathleen; and his mother-in-law, Carol.

A private ceremony with military honors will be held at Mound Cemetery in Racine. A Celebration of Life will also be held at a future date with more details to come. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.
