Robert W. Heck, Sr., age 80, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2026.
He was the beloved son of the late Helen and Edward J. Heck, and the devoted husband of Jaclyn Heck (nee Warner). Robert was a loving father to Robert Heck, Jr. (Eunice), Kathleen Sauer (Mark), and Maureen Primavera (Anthony).
He was a proud and cherished “Poppy” to Brianna (Tom), Alexandra, Bobby (Rebecca), Geralyn, Jaclyn, Mark, Giovanna, Giuliana, and Angelo, and a loving great-grandfather to Macklin, Logan, Beau, and Scottie.
Robert was the dear brother of Michael (Maureen) and Barbara Ann (Bud), and the late Edward (Donna) and Dennis. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Bob was an avid Philadelphia sports fan who especially loved following the Big 5. He enjoyed coaching baseball and basketball for many years with the Mayfair Red Devils, sharing his passion for sports with countless young athletes. He was a familiar face in the stands and never missed a sporting event for his grandchildren, always cheering them on with pride. He also enjoyed golfing, spending time in North Wildwood, and being a proud member of the Elks Lodge.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at St. Katherine of Siena Church, 9700 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19114, beginning at 10:00 AM, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery.
