Robert Lee Helm

This is Mike Roberts. Bobby was my cousin, but growing up, I idolized him. He was a big brother to me.
Bobby and I spent so much time together playing basketball and, of course, wrestling. When I was 15, he invited me to stay with him for the summer in Porterville. He gave me daily chores to finish while he was at work, and as soon as he got home, we´d play basketball for hours until dark.
Bobby also gave me my first job, working for him roughing in new AC ductwork. It was tough, awful work at times, but Bobby made it fun. More importantly, he taught me how to work hard and take pride in what I was doing.
I will always be grateful for Bobby´s influence in my life. I will miss you, Bobby.
