Mr. Henry was a native of Glencoe and a graduate of Glencoe High School, where he was known as "the king of football" and went to All State in 1966. He continued to be a life-long supporter of Glencoe Football. He worked as a conductor for Norfolk Southern Railroad for over 30 years. He was a good provider and had a great work ethic, and even made headlines when he drove a train through The Blizzard of '93. He was an avid NASCAR and college football fan. He enjoyed fishing, reading his Bible, Wendy's Frosties, and chili dogs. He was famous for making ice-cream floats and had a great sense of humor. He took pride in keeping his yard nice and his cars cleaned and detailed. His favorite car was his '66 Super Sport.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Henry, Brandon Hutt, Joey Stone, Steve Sallee, and Wes Elrod.
