Thank you for being a great family man who enjoyed life. I am here to support all our cherished souls from 9/11 and your dedication to your wife & daughters is beyond touching. May you rest well with the angels. Never forgotten.

I knew you at Hess. I watch the reading of names every year at least until they get to you, Bob. May you R.I.P.

I'm just a stranger from Nashville, TN. Looking at google maps and did the street view, saw Mr. Hepburn's name on the memorial. You and your family are not forgotten. Prayers for you all.

Hepburn had a really great sense of humor, in school he was was confident, sometimes independent, I dont know why but what stands out in High School he loved the band The Tubes very sad may God Bless the Hepburn Family so Sad.

Hello my brother. Hello my good friend.
This morning I tuned in the live broadcast of the 9/11 memorial service in Manhattan and was able to hear your name read aloud. Thirteen years now and I still tear up. There is some solace knowing you have family and friends who remember you many more times throughout the year, than only on this sad anniversary. Thoughts of you continue to enter my mind almost daily. I often think about how much better my life would have turned out had you been allowed to live yours. I miss you Bob and I always will.

Our little girls were the same age and we all met in townley pre-school. We had a few good years together at the elks pool. You were such a great guy, we miss you and miss the girls also.

This day is truly sad. Thoughts go to your family on this difficult day.

Bob, I miss you every single day. You were my honorary "little brother." We had a great 39 year friendship that I will always & forever keep in my heart. I love you little bro!

I had a dream (visit) from my friend Bob the eve of the 11th...It was as if we had just seen each other the other day..he looked wonderful, young and so very happy..I do not remember much about the conversation, I just remember his huge smile, sparkling presence and this unbelievable *aura* of happiness and light surrounding him. I believe he wanted me to let his family & friends know that he is safe and well and is with you always...God Bless...

I will never forget Bob Hepburn...he was such an awesome guy, worked at Hess and Xerox with him. May God bless Theresa and the girls always.

I don’t know if you are Roberts wife or another relative, however this past August I partook in an amazing journey with Robert next to my heart the entire time. I rode in the Americas 9/11 foundation 10th annual motorcycle ride. Roberts name was the one given to me to ride for. I started in Leesburg, VA and rode to Shanksville, PA where we laid a wreath in honor of those victims and then continued on to Washington, DC and did the same for the victims of the Pentagon site. From the Pentagon we rode into NYC almost 3,000 strong to pay our respects at ground zero. This journey was not only humbling but so meaningful I will never forget it as long as I live. For the entire 4 day ride, I do not believe an entire mile passed without someone stopping on the side of the road, standing on a bridge or overpass, and even sitting in traffic who didn’t wave an American flag or hold up a sign that they will never forget. I had Robert with me in my heart and his card with me the entire ride. At points riding for that distance and for that long was very painful, but I just kept thinking that I was sure all of Roberts family and friends would have taken on that discomfort 10 times over to have him back. So in my mind it was a small sacrifice to pay to honor one of our American heroes. I Keep Roberts card in my office on my desk and see it every day. I know it’s not much but even 10 years later Robert is not forgotten even by a complete stranger and I hope that gives you some comfort. My condolences and may his memory live on forever.

I remember Bob Pitching us to the fall championship in the Linden fall softball league in 1997. I remember him coming with his wife and 2 small daughters. He was a great guy.

Just saw Bob's name on the 9/11 tribute again. Again, I'm so sorry for your loss. I still remember working with you for a short time at Hess and remember seeing Bob come up and visit you. My brother, Dan, worked with Bob in the mailroom. My thoughts and Prayers go to you and your family today and everyday.

I don't know if you remember me. I worked for Bob in the mailroom at Hess around 1991-1993. I was heartbroken when I heard the news about Bob. He and I both loved the New York Rangers. I will miss him. I am now a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ and will be praying that God will remove the pain from you and your family's hearts.

at school we did a september 11 tribute and they gave out little sheets of paper with someones name, and I got Robert Allan Hepburn. I looked him up and I found out he was a great person, God Bless

My family and I sympathize with you on the death of Robert. We live in the Caribbean and we came across the name Robert Hepburn online. We're not sure if there is any relation, anyway you can contact us and we can talk. Once again, our hearts are with your family. Please accept our deepest condolences.

I'm a graduating senior this year and in rememberance of the people who died on that tragic day one year ago, my school gave each student a bracelet and on that bracelet was a name of a person who died. On this somber day with ceremonies and bells I remember You and your family. I think of you Often and hope you and your girls become stronger every day. I knew you through your brother and attended your wedding with him. The best man speech that his brother gave him is to this day the best I've ever heard. I only knew him briefly but remember what a great guy he was.

I don't know if you remember me, but I worked with bob in the mailroom at Hess. I didn't find out that he was involved in this terrible tradgity until april 18th. Its the 1st person I really knew, and it hit me like a brick when I found out. I really don't know what to say but IM SORRY- He was one of the nicest guys i knew.
