Robert Heymer Obituary
Robert Carl Heymer, 93, of Hatfield, passed away on January 28, 2026. He was born in Dedham, MA on August 22, 1932 to the late Frank and Maude (Chester) Heymer. He was the loving husband of the late Doris Heymer for 25 years until her passing in 1982, and the late Florence Heymer for 25 years until her passing in 2013. Robert was an Army veteran, serving from 1953-1955.
Robert is survived by his children Robert Heymer and Janice Mecray; grandchildren Jessica Tantorno and James Mecray; great grandchildren Alexandra, Valerie, Kaleb, and Gabriella; and many other loving family and friends. He is predeceased by his parents; wives; and siblings Frank and Dorothy.
Services will be privately held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Robert's name can be made to a veteran's charity of your choice.
