Robert "Robbie" James Hilldrup, 33 of Fairfax, Virginia unexpectedly passed away on August 18, 2025, in Washington, DC. A memorial gathering will be held at Lee District "Franconia" Park Shelter A, on Friday September 12, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. Born in Fredericksburg, Virginia on September 15, 1991, Robert "Robbie" attended West Potomac High School in Alexandria, Virginia. He spent his youth playing sports, spending time with his family, and building lasting friendships. Robert is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents James "Jimmy" Habron and Joan "Joanie" Habron. He is survived by his mother Rhonda Benikas, his stepfather David Benikas, his father Paul Hilldrup, stepmother Maria McKinney, paternal grandparents Phillip Hilldrup Sr. and Doris Hilldrup, godparents Michael and Susan Cole, brothers Andrew Hilldrup, Wyatt Benikas, Travis Hilldrup, and Jacob Benikas, sister Heather Hilldrup, stepsister Jessica Beasley, and nephew Jayden Hilldrup. Robert will be remembered for his beautiful smile, heart of gold, sense of humor, competitiveness, love for his family, being Green Bay Packer's #1 fan, and his close relationship with his brother Andrew. Robbie and Andrew were a true testament of a Brother's Love. Friends and family are invited to Lee District "Franconia" Park, Shelter A, 6601 Telegraph Road, Alexandria, Virginia on September 12, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. for an informal remembrance gathering as Robbie would prefer. In lieu of flowers the family has requested you to please consider donating or volunteering time to your local food pantry to feed the homeless.
