Robert Hillyer Obituary
He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Jeannette Hillyer. He is also survived by his children, Julie Davis, Leslie Gore and David Hillyer. Robert was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Lois Hillyer; and son Michael Hillyer. Robert leaves behind six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
Robert served honorably in the United States Navy for 22 years, as a chief petty officer. Following his military service, he continued his professional journey with A&T Technology.
He lived a long, full life - one defined by honor, hard work, and love for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
The Thomas L. Neilan & Sons Funeral Home, 48 Grand Street, Niantic is assisting the family with the private arrangements.

Bob worked with my Dad (Walt Patrick) A&T for many years. Dad always spoke highly of him.

I worked at A&T Technical Services in the 80's while Bob was there. He was a very kind man. I remember he gave me a very large teddy bear that his wife made for me. I think it was a gift when I left the company. My deepest sympathy to his wife and family. RIP Bob
