A celebration of life for Robert S. Hoffman, 83, Lawrence will be held at a later date. Robert passed away on March 9, 2026, at his home.
He was born February 17, 1943, in Worden, Kansas the son of Lloyd R. and Helen (Hepner) Hoffman.
Robert worked for Jostens as a printer and retired in June of 2002 after 33 years. He was an avid KU sports fan and card collector and loved 50’s music. In his younger years he helped coach his sons in basketball and baseball. He enjoyed watching his sons and grandchildren play sports.
He married Edwinia Vaught on February 11, 1966, in Topeka, Kansas. She survives of the home.
He is survived by his son, Scott D. Hoffman, sister, Shirley Cox and six grandchildren, Brittany, Alyssa, Jordyn, Matt, Kadyn and Luxdyn and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Brian Hoffman and two sisters, Donna Pearson and Barbara Rutherford.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or to the charity of the donors choice and may be sent in care of the mortuary.
