Robert E. Hoffmaster, 78, of New Cumberland died Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at his home.
He was an Air Force Veteran. He was a retired Highway Inspector from PENNDOT. He enjoyed meeting up with friends and buddies at Boomerang Bar and Grill; family get togethers around the pool where he was known as the pizza man. In his youth he was a member of DeMolay International and later enjoyed riding his motorcycle and piloting private airplanes.
He was born May 18, 1945, in Harrisburg to the late S. Robert Hoffmaster and Verna Louise (Cucu) Sweger. He was also preceded in death by his granddaughter, Karli Luevano.
He is survived by his daughter, Jodi Luevano of The Villages, FL; grandchildren, Nicole Roach and Kayla Luevano; great-grandchildren, Ava and Ashton Roach; sisters, Barbara Shope and Linda Ahn; and a close cousin, Suzi Prescott.
Private graveside services will be held at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Lower Paxton Twp.
