Robert Lee Hogan

Robert Lee Hogan, 59, of 161 Walnut Street, died Wednesday, April 30, 2008, at Mary Black Memorial Hospital. Born September 7, 1948, in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of Geneva Cash Hogan of Pacolet and the late Walter Hogan. He was the owner of Hogan's Home Improvements and a member of Morningside Baptist Church where he was a former Deacon. He was a member of the Central Pacolet Town Council for two years and Mayor of Central Pacolet for eight years. Surviving in addition to his mother is his wife, Sue Ann McKnight Hogan; two sons, Chris Hogan and his wife Lori of Pacolet, and Chipper Wilkerson and his wife Kristin of Wellford; two daughters, Lorie Jones and her husband Don of Pacolet, and Kim Floyd and her husband John of Gastonia, NC; two brothers, Michael Hogan and his wife Chris of Spartanburg, and Donald Hogan and his wife Pat of Pacolet; two grandsons, Brad Jones and Will Hogan; and three granddaughters, Shelby Phillips, Breanna Floyd, and Zadie Ann Wilkerson. Visitation will be 7-9:00 p.m. Friday, May 2, 2008, at Pacolet First Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 3, 2008, at Pacolet First Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Dr. Kirk H. Neely, the Rev. Dr. Wayne Hyatt, and the Rev. Jack Dodds. Burial will be in Pacolet Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cancer Association of Spartanburg and Cherokee Counties, P. O.
