I just stumbled on this notice today. I'm so sorry Betty, Peggy, Heidi, Mary Beth, Bobby and Mark. Your dad was the coolest guy on Mark Drive and I remember his Monte Carlo so well. You guys had 2 cars and shag carpet! And I remember visiting you guys in Rockford and being told I had a funny accent. I can only imagine Bob's and Betty's accents and you kids' accents also. I remember saying Mary Beth real fast - like "Maribtthh". And playing Huckey Tuckey in your front yard. Bob was a great guy and a great friend to my parents. I will let my mother and sisters know, although Jill is probably too young to remember Bob.

I will remember my paternal Uncle Bob as a classic Yinzer, full of life, honest, genuine, generous and kind.
I´m sure that I inherited my love for our beloved Pittsburgh sports teams from him and will be looking forward to enjoying his influence from the heavens as our teams win more trophies!
