Robert Hughes Obituary
Bob was born December 15, 1964, in Chillicothe, Ohio, the son of the late Robert Levern Hughes, Sr. and Louisa (Dunn) Hughes. On June 27, 1992, he was united in marriage to Debra Lynn (Bonds) Hughes, who survives.
He is also survived by five children, Alexander (Natasha) Hughes, Shelby (Charles) Woolum, Abigail "Abbie" Hughes, Timothy "Timmie" Hughes, and Kimberly Hogue; five grandchildren, Aiden Hughes, Ellie Hughes, Blakely "Stinky Sue" Woolum, Braydon Arnette, Deklan Rowan, and Kai Wheeler; three siblings, Elizabeth (Harold) Sheets, Peg Hughes, and Rita (Tony) Davis; two brothers-in-law, Tom Hammond and Kevin (Angie) Bonds, parents-in-law, Thomas "Harlan" (Lavada) Tackett and Marcia Bonds, special friends, Kevin Fischer and Bobby Schofield, and many nieces, nephews, and other loving family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Bobbi Lynn Hammond; father-in-law, Harry Bonds, a very special mother-in-law, Linda "Sue" Sickels-Bonds-Tackett, and two brothers-in-law, Rick Sharonburg and Harry Duane Bonds.
He was a veteran of the United States Navy, and he was previously employed by Ross Correctional Institute as a guard and Red Lobster as a manager. Bob loved to go fishing, play video games, listen to audiobooks, and give Snoop Dogg and Willie Nelson a run for their money.
Bob's family would like to extend a very special thank you to Karen Deardorff for all her help over the years.
Arrangements are pending under the care of Boyer Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Boyer Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
