Robert Hughes Sr. Obituary
Robert Floyd Hughes, Sr. (Bobby) entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 29, 2024. At the age of 78 years. Beloved father of Maria Ancona Lyman, Leslie Hughes, Robert Hughes, Jr. (Janel), and Chantelle Dunn (Billy). Son of the late Robert T. Hughes and Gladys Talbot Hughes. Brother of Charlene Autin, Floyd T. Hughes, and the late Ken Hughes, Sr. Also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. A native of New Orleans and resident of Avondale, LA. Robert was a Veteran of the United States Navy having served in the Vietnam War. He spent his career as a plumber until retirement and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all.
Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at Fleet 162, 703 Kepler Street Gretna, La. On Sunday, March 24, 2024, 12:30-5:00pm Interment private. Mothe Funeral Home handled arrangements.
