Mr. Robert Lee “Cadillac” Jackson was born in Darlington, South Carolina on May 18, 1959 to the late Willie “Mule” Richardson and Mary Sue Jackson Miller. He departed this earthly life on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at his home in Hartsville, South Carolina.   Robert attended Rosenwald High School in Society Hill, South Carolina and worked for Remelt Steel, LLC in Darlington, South Carolina and he was also employed with Stingray Boat Company in Hartsville, South Carolina.   Robert was joined in marriage to Cynthia Johnson Jackson.   Robert was a member of New Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church in Darlington, South Carolina, under the leadership of Reverend W. Calvin Daniels.   Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Sue Jackson Miller; his father, Willie “Mule” Richardson; a son, Brian Jackson; and a special aunt, Rosetta Harris.   He leaves to cherish his precious memories: his wife, Cynthia Johnson Jackson, two sons, Antonio “Mann” Jackson and Robert Sharod Jackson both of Hartsville, South Carolina; a daughter, Victoria (Darren) Gibson of Florence, South Carolina; four sisters, Tonya Jackson of Hartsville, South Carolina, Catherine Miller of Darlington, South Carolina, Patricia Jackson of Queens, New York, and Kathy Miller of Brooklyn, New York; two brothers, Nicholas Miller of Brooklyn, New York and Derrick Parker of Darlington, South Carolina; his mother in-law, Geraldine (Sammy) Jackson of Darlington, South Carolina; two aunts, Shirley (George) Taylor and Lillian MacLain both of Darlington, South Carolina; a special brother in-law, Dicky Macray of Hartsville, South Carolina; five sisters in-law; six brothers in-law; nine grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

 

The family will receive friends at 210 Beechwood Dr., Hartsville.
