Sincere condolences to you Sharon and family. You are an awesome woman of God who for many years stood behind and worked together with an awesome man of God. He has crossed over to the other side of his promise and finished a good race. Together what a team, what a family, what a heritage and what fruit you have produced for the Kingdom of God. Besides being an exemplar man of God, his life radiated that character as a husband, father, grandfather and friend to many. It shows in your kids and grandkids. What a blessing for him to know his family is also secure in Christ Jesus. That is proof of his example as truth lives on through them. A true soldier and veteran for our country and a true soldier and veteran for the Lord Jesus Christ. God bless you.

Sharon, we are saddened by the loss of Robert or as I used to call him :"Bob yard-long", back in the high school days due to his play on the football field. I enjoyed knowing him from high school and Iowa State. I know he will be sorely missed by you, and his children, and his church family. We ask God to wrap his arms around you all and keep you in his presence in his peace which passes all understanding. God bless you. Paul Oderkirk, Washington '63.

I remember when Bro. Bob preached at Parkway with joyful enthusiasm and passion. He was a faithful, consistent, and sweet man. I pray his dear wife, children, and all who loved him will be comforted.
