Robert Mark Jaikowski, age 64, of Stanton, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 23, 2021, near Howard City. He was born in Mt. Clemens, Michigan, on July 23, 1957, son of Robert Paul and Georgette Ellen (Love) Jaikowski. Robert graduated from Greenville High School with the Class of 1975. He worked at Federal Mogul in Greenville for nearly forty years and had recently started helping with heavy equipment rentals at Bush Hardware in Sheridan. He was an avid outdoorsman, fishing, hunting and generally enjoying nature whenever he could. Robert is survived by his children, Lacey (Blake) Banaszak of Cedar Springs and Robert B. (Christina Wittkopp) Jaikowski of Stanton; grandchildren, Lauren, Brooklynn and Skylar; his dear mother, Georgette of St. Cloud, Florida; special friend and companion, Kim Johnson Hoitinga; siblings, Linda Coppa, Tony (Tammy) Coppa and Deb (Jeff) Zander; aunts, several uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends and work colleagues. He was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents. Visitation will take place at Marshall Funeral Home, in Greenville, on Friday, October 29, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. If making a memorial contribution, the family suggests donating in Robert’s name to support Macular Degeneration Research and Education (macular.org).
