Robert Hugh Jaros, 65, Passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 11th at his home in Hazelhurst WI in the presence of his loving wife of nearly 34 years.
Bob was the youngest of 8 children born to Edward and Vivian Jaros on November 24, 1959 in Minneapolis Minnesota. He graduated from Centennial High School in 1977. Bob made his living as a technician for a few companies over the years, notably Viking Vending and Coca-Cola.
He met his first wife Julie Degnan soon after and they were married in 1980. They have 3 children together Robert Jr. (1981), Rebecca (1983), and Johnathan (1984). They divorced and Bob married Joan Pfau in August of 1991. Julie passed away in December 2023.
Bob was a larger than life personality and always made an impact when he entered a room. He was an avid golfer and loved to play whenever he could, he participated in a league as well. Bob made the Hole in one club twice in his lifetime. He was a great bowler and hunter and loved camping. Behind his gruff persona was a loving and caring man who fiercely protected his loved ones.
Bob is joining his parents Edward and Vivian, his brothers Arlen, Ronnald, and Jan and his youngest son Johnathan in the hereafter. He leaves behind a heartbroken Wife Joan, his remaining children Robert (Becky), Rebecca (Steven), daughter in law Katie and 9 grandchildren Kenneth Jaros, Talon Jaros, Asheron Jaros, Allisha Enger, Wyatt-James Jaros, Rhonan Carlisle, Ryan Jaros, Saul Jaros, and Gretchen Jaros.
Visitation for Robert will be held on Wednesday, July 16th from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at Nimsgern Funeral Home Chapel, 1025 Margaret Street, Woodruff, WI and also on Friday, July 18th at Washburn-McReavy Glen Haven Funeral Chapel and Memorial Gardens, 5125 West Broadway, Crystal, MN from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon with a Funeral Service at 12:00 noon.
