I was in Banneker junior high school when Robert aka Blue played at Cardozo high School of Washington, DC. In the storied history of Cardozo's football program he was arguably the best running back they ever had. To a whole generation of younger admirers and wannabes like myself he was a potent symbol of athletic excellence, greatly admired but never exceeded. Try as you might.

Sorry to hear of the passing of a High School Classmate, Cardozo High School Class of 1959. Well known as (Blue), he always had a wonderful smile and a great personality. May the healing touch of family and friends continue to be a blessing to the family.
