Mr Jones is truly a gentleman- Always was gracious to me even though much of my time with him was when he was sick and tired. He was kind in word and gesture. And courteous in the small ways that make society into a beautiful culture in which a person can thrive: Asking about me, not focusing on himself. Employing humor even in his last days. Dressing as if he and others were worthy of looking a little better than exactly what might be convenient or comfortable to himself.
And he was faithful: to God, his family and his nation,
a sturdy presence even when he was leaving us.
May he rest in peace.

For the time I had with him was a complete pleasure. He was there for me when I loss my dad . Very compassion and a stand up guy . My heart us truly broken but I know he's in a better place . My first memory of my cousin Robert was him lifting me up on his car when he was in full Navy uniform and had come home on leave and the whole family was having a picnic in the park.

I´ll always remember Mr and Mrs Jones attending Christ the King´s Grandparents Tea. The students would get to invite their grandparents to the school for the day for treats and songs. It was usually a big event! Since both of my grandparents live in Pennsylvania, they usually were not able to make it. So we would invite our loving neighbors (the Jones) to the celebration! We were so happy that they could come and be our grandparents.

Mr. Jones was one of the most caring and amazing individuals that I have ever known. I loved him like he was my own grandfather. I will miss him and his smile and laugh, but he is now smiling down at us from Heaven. I know I will get to see him again someday
I love you Mr Jones.
Love,
Mary
