Robert J. Kacala

Robert J. Kacala, of Northeast Philadelphia, died peacefully on January 31, 2022, at the Thomas Jefferson Hospital, Torresdale Division. He was the devoted husband of 54 wonderful years to Marie (nee Castagna). Robert was born in and grew up in Philadelphia. He worked for McKesson Pharmaceuticals Inc., retiring after 33 years. He enjoyed playing the lottery, a cold PBR, Watching the Eagles, and all Philly sports, and going to shore in North Wildwood, NJ. Most of all he loved being with his family. Robert will be greatly missed, but eternally remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. In addition to his wife Marie, Robert is survived by his daughters Lisa (husband Daniel) McCorry, and Angela (husband Jeffrey) Monahan. He will be sadly missed by his Grandchildren Kiera and Jack Monahan, and Kristina, Timothy, and Sean McCorry, and by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his brother in law Joseph Castagna Relatives and friends are invited to Robert's Life Celebration on Monday; February 7, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by his Funeral Service at the John F. Givnish Funeral Home 10975 Academy Road Philadelphia, PA 19154. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery 5201 Hulmeville Rd. Bensalem, PA, 19020.
