Robert L. Kampf

Just heard of Bob's passing. Was one of his weekend golf buddies for years. Always enjoyed his company and appreciated his diligence in arranging our games.

I worked with Bob at The Macomb Daily and again at The Detroit News and Free Press. He was a wonderful and supportive colleague. He always made us happy with his funny stories and down to earth sense of humor. He had a great work ethic and was very kind to everyone. Bob, I'm sure you and Bob Russell are already on the links in Heaven, keeping everyone laughing. May you Rest In Peace.

Our condolences to the Kampf family. We only met Bob several times but know that he was loved and will be missed by his family. Our thoughts and prayers are sent.

Some of my favorite memories with Bob involve tailgating with him at the 2014 MSU vs. Stanford Rose Bowl Game. Also, of course, playing golf with Bob. We always had a great time together. Bob was such a nice, caring man to work with, and I will cherish the many memories always. WE will all miss you Bob. Join the choir of angels when you get there.

Bob was like a brother to me - we had so many memories of crazy fun times together. I will miss him. Rest in peace Bob

Oh Bob, how you will be missed. I have so many memories of you in the CLC Senior Choir . I was director for over 30 years, and you were there for most of those years. You always had a joke or a funny story. Bob, I could always count on your magnificent tenor voice! I know the music at CLC won't be the same without you. I'm sure you are already singing in the heavenly choir. Say Hi! to my dad for me, please.

Rest in peace, Bob. You were a good friend and always had a joke to tell. You loved your family and enjoyed sharing your life stories. We will all miss your humor, your laughter, and your wonderful voice.
