I miss Bobby Karmelowicz. He was one of a kind. When he played football he was ferocious as a lion. I was always glad he was on our team. Even in practice he was as tough as nails and made me a better player. He was also very kind to everyone. Bobby made our teams state champs for three years in a row. He and Henry Tracz were great friends and teammates. His football career coaching in the NFL was outstanding and cut way too short. His laughter and smile made all our burdens lighter and days brighter.

The Plainville High Football Teams 1964,1965& 1966 all mourn their dear friend and team leader Bob Karmelowicz. He was a dear friend, great athlete and coach. We had championship teams because we all worked together and would achieve beyond our talent.I was so glad to see Bob when the Chiefs came to San Diego to play the Chargers. We would talk about our teammates and what a great town Plainville was to grow up in as a kid. My heart and prayers go out to Olga and their family and Bob's sister Susan. Blessings, Rev. Curt D. Fuller
