Robert Kelly Obituary
Bob was born to the late Katherine (Bates), and Robert Kelly Sr. in Burlington, KY. He was a U.S. Army Reserve veteran, and a member of Calvary Christian Center Church, Mt. Washington. Bob was a retired steel fabricator from both Marine Builders and Clark Nichols Construction.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 39 years, Shirley Porter Kelly; infant brother, Melvin Lawrence Kelly, and sister, Imogene Spaulding Williams.
Bob is survived by his children, Susan Hicks (Bruce), Kevin Kelly (Amy), and Robin Cadarette (Keith Age); brothers, Charles "Bubby" Kelly, and Carroll Kelly; grandchildren, Jennifer Joyce (Jason), Tony Hook (Sara), Clayton Cadarette, and Cameron Cadarette, and great-grandchildren, Conner and Lorelai Cadarette.
His funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 24, 2026, at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with burial at Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2:00 – 7:00 p.m. Friday at Owen Funeral Home.
The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to Cameron Cadarette for the care he lovingly provided Bob this past month.
