Robert P. Killilea

Robert "Bob" P. Killilea, known as "Killa", a resident of Peabody, died on February 26, 2026, 2 days shy of his 74th birthday, after a long illness.

He was born in Quincy, MA, to John and Barbara Killilea. His beloved mother, Barbara, passed away shortly after his birth. Bob graduated from Melrose High and attended Assumption College on a full scholarship. Bob's family was all involved in basketball because their father was an assistant coach for the Boston Celtics, Houston Rockets, and Milwaukee Bucks. Bob also loved riding his motorcycle where he met and joined the "Mean and Clean" group. He loved his dog, Willow, and all animals.

Bob leaves behind his wife of 43 years, Elaine; his brother, Kevin; and sister, Karen. He also had his adoptive mother Patricia and three brothers: Peter, Billy, and Richie. Bob is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held at Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, located at 10 Chestnut Street, Peabody, on Saturday, March 7th from 2:00 to 5:00 P.M.

In lieu of flowers, you can donate to the SPCA for animals.
