Grandpa was the best role model anyone could ask for. He taught us how to work hard, play hard, kindness, and that love wasn´t connected through blood. To him I was never a step granddaughter and he didn´t know how much that meant to me. I love when he would take his camping we play dominoes or Euchre. I loved watching him and grandma squared danced together. Their outfits were beautiful. I remember one time I went with them and they did a cake walk and I won the cake. I was just a kid. I thought I had won the world, but those were simpler times that I wish we could go back too but we can´t so I hold those memories close to my heart. He will be missed very much. I got to see him when he was in the nursing home and he told me how proud of me he was and how much he loves me so my heart is full thank you, grandpa.

Love you always,

Sissy (Trisha Staffan Frederiksen)
