Robert J. Kittell

Robert J. Kittell, Sr., 77, of Oaktree Avenue, a retired machine operator for General Electric, passed away, Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at the Kent Regency. He was the husband of the late Florence M. (Moore) Kittell. Born in Manhattan, NY, he was a son of the late William P. and Georgette Z. (Labrie) Kittell. Mr. Kittell was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was the beloved father of Pamela M. Kittell, Denise G. Deschenes and her husband, Timothy; Robert J. Kittell, Jr., Robin L. Shepheard and her husband, Scott and the late David T. Kittell; loving grandfather of Robert, Jennifer, David, Rachel, Tiara, Justin and Lynn. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late William Kittell. His funeral will be held Saturday at 9:30 am from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Clement Church, Long Street. Burial with military honors will be in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, N. Kingstown. Visitation Saturday 8:30-9:30 am.
