Robert Dale Knobb

Robert "Knobby" D. Knobb, age 79, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 1, 1934 to the late Henry and Edna (Rohr) Knobb in Massillon. He married Norma Green on November 15, 1952 and she survives him. Bob worked in the Shipping Department for the Enduro Division of Republic Steel for 30 years until his retirement. He loved working on his hog farm in Apple Creek, Ohio. Bob was a diehard Notre Dame and NASCAR fan. Bob will be forever remembered as a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother. In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by his daughters, Robbie (Jerry) Richard, Debbie (John) Dimitroff and Donna (Kurt) Nussbaum; his grandchildren, Robert Knobb, Erin Dudley, Alex Dimitroff, and Brittany Dimitroff; his great grandchildren, Jacob Knobb and Analeigh Dudley; his sisters Betty Kasunic Kathleen Jones, his brother, Jim Knobb and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. A Funeral Service will be held at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Saturday, March 16, 2013. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. on Friday, March 15, 2013 at the funeral home and 1 hour prior to the funeral service. Burial will be at Newman Cemetery.
