Robert F. Koenig, 61, of Northfield, formerly of Manchester, passed away on June 13, 2023. He is the beloved husband of Lisa (Legendre) Koenig with whom he shared 43 years of marriage.

Born and raised in Manchester, he attended Central High School where he met the love of his life, Lisa, and settled down to raise a family.

One of Robert's favorite pastimes was camping and hiking at Lazy River in Epsom, where he found peace and solitude among the trees and fresh air. Despite being very stubborn at times, he had a heart of gold that shone through in his love for his family. His adoration for his grandchildren was unmatched, and he treasured every moment spent with them dearly.

Robert had a passion for country music and could often be heard singing along to his favorite tunes. Although not known for his cooking skills, he will always be remembered for the culinary concoctions he created in the kitchen. Robert was a loving and kind man who left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

Along with his wife Lisa, Bob is survived by his four children: Belinda Brides and her husband Dennis of Concord, Bobby and his partner Abigail Dean, Becky Koenig and her partner Brian Lynch, and Shannon Peabody and her husband Ben all of Manchester; his 12 grandchildren: Kyle, Zachary, Logan, Brianna, Malakye, Janelly, Matthew, Kobe, Leah, Amelia, Izabelle, and Benjamin; his great granddaughter, Luna; sisters, Lynda Goodell, and Donna Wesson; his best friend of over 40 years, Phil Hart; and his beloved cat, Mittens.

Bob is predeceased by his parents, Herman and Amelia (Austin) Koenig, and brothers, Harold Cheney, David Koenig, and Wayne Koenig.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, June 15th from 4-6pm at The Phaneuf Funeral Home & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street in Manchester. A funeral service will follow at 6pm in the funeral home. Interment will be on Friday, June 16th at 9am in Pine Grove Cemetery, Manchester. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend.
