KONIECZKA, Robert "Bob"– of Davison, age 94, passed away on October 6, 2024. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 1 PM on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor Kristin LePalm officiating. Inurnment will be in Dodge Cemetery. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service, beginning at 12 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Dunston Episcopal Church memorial fund in Bob's memory.
Bob was born in Burton, MI on July 16, 1930, son of the late John Harry and Ruth Ann (White) Konieczka. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He married the love of his life, Anna Jean Brown, on December 23, 1950, cherishing their time together until her passing on July 10, 2023. After retiring from G.M., Bob dedicated his later years to working on his beloved farm, where he found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Faithful to his family and devoted to his God, Bob often spent his afternoons in the shade of his barn, welcoming visitors with heartfelt conversations. He always reserved a seat for friends and loved ones, reflecting his generous spirit and deep affection for his family. Bob's legacy is one of love, kindness, and cherished memories.
Bob is survived by his children, William Konieczka, James (Robin) Konieczka and Joseph (Anne) Konieczka; grandchildren, Corey Konieczka, Jennifer (Andy) VonFintel, Amanda (Mike) Alfredson, Christopher (Katherine) Konieczka and Lori (Keith) Fisher; great-grandchildren, Hailey, Carson, Sophie, Charlie, Alexis, Eli and Lucy; many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by both parents; loving wife, Anna Jean; siblings: Margaret Pyles, Dorothy Elliott, Victoria Konieczka, Jack Kennedy, Alexander Konieczka, William Konieczka, and Richard Konieczka.
