Robert Krause Jr.

Robert Krause Jr., 30, passed away on Monday, November 10, 2025.

Rob is survived by his mother, Mary Krause of Oswego, IL; father, Robert Krause Sr., of Port Orange, FL; sister, Erin (Christopher) Karper; nieces, Grace and Alice; nephew, Luke; uncles, Tom and David Shropshire; aunt Barbara Krause and many cousins.

Rob is preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Olga Shropshire and Edward and Margaret Krause; and his uncle, Edward Krause.

Rob worked at GP Transco as a human resource generalist since 2019. His life really revolved around music. Whether it be writing, performing or listening, he truly had a passion for music. As a young man he taught himself to play guitar which eventually evolved into being a guitarist and vocalist in two bands, The Darling Suns for over five years and, most recently, Ccharlieswann. Rob not only played and sang but also wrote his own music, of which he was extremely proud. When not playing with his band he enjoyed listening to other bands by attending concerts and shows. His preferred genre was not limited to any one type, but he mostly appreciated alternative and Indie music.

Rob will be dearly missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.

Family will be receiving guests on Saturday, December 6, 2025 from 11:00am until 2:00pm at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 South Broadway, Montgomery, IL 60538.

There will also be a celebration of life held at a later date.
