Bob was born on July 9, 1938, to his parents Harold and Verna (Heideman) Ladwig.
Bob met his future wife Darlene Jaeger at the West Bend Artistic Roller Rink. He married Darlene on October 20, 1962, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls, WI.
Bob and Darlene were long time members of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Sheboygan, WI. He was a devoted truck driver for over 50 years. Prior to trucking he worked at State Foundry in Cedar Grove.
Bob is survived by his children, Dawn O'Donnell, Rob (Laurie) Ladwig and Randy (Jenni) Ladwig; eight grandchildren; siblings Judy (Tom) Gray and Larry (Joyce) Ladwig. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years Darlene; his parents; son-in-law, Brian O'Donnell; brother Orlin (JoAnn) Ladwig; nephew Mark Ladwig; friends, Marcia Sohre and Bridget Gahagan; and close friend, Sandy Knuth.
Bob's family will greet friends and relatives for a time of visitation on Thursday, October 5, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 917 Mead Ave. in Sheboygan, WI. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 11:00 AM. Entombment will be at Green Lawn Memorial Park in Kohler, WI.
