Robert Landini of Inverness, FL, 75, passed on November 23, 2022.
Robert (Bob) was born to Julius and Mary Ann (nee Maly) on December 21, 1946, in Detroit, MI. After high school, he became a machine repairman apprentice and journeyman. He worked 30 years for Ford Motor Company. Bob had a love for cars and racing.
In his younger days, he was known to drag race at the track and maybe a little on the street, but don't tell the grandkids. After retirement, Bob moved to Hernando in 1995 and for last 20 years Inverness.
He had a love and passion for his Catholic faith, which he showed in his volunteer work with Saint Alfred's in Taylor, MI. where he participated in the choir, scouting, fall festival committee, and so much more.
In 1987, he was part of the 1200-member choir that sang for Pope John Paul II at a Mass held at Pontiac Silverdome. After moving to Florida, this work continued with the choir at Our Lady of Fatima in Inverness, and for over 10 years, working with Helping Hands.
Bob was a dedicated father who loved his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his brother Ralph (Skip), three children: Robert, Patricia, and Thomas; and six grandchildren: Robert, Roderick, Lurissa, London, Renae, and Liam. He is proceeded in death by his parents Julius and Mary Ann, and his sister Margaret.
Viewing will be held at Heinz Funeral Home in Inverness on Friday, December 2, 2022, from 3 PM to 5 PM.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Fatima in Inverness on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at 10 AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Helping Hands c/o Our Lady of Fatima.

our family will miss Bob Greatly. We love his family. Him and I always had a great time chatting and talking about growing up. and Tom, Rob, Patty will remember when I would stop by and visit in the morning. We love you all!
