Robert was the retired owner of the family business, Leasure's Lawn & Garden Equipment. He enjoyed fishing and crabbing, was an avid football fan and a horse racing enthusiast.
His wife, Kathryn (Morris) Leasure, passed away on February 20, 2002. In addition, he was predeceased by his brother, Wayne Leasure; his sister, Mary Louise Baker.
Robert is survived by his children, Robert L. Leasure, Jr. and wife, Linda, Deborah Walton and husband, Andy; his grandchildren, Robert Leasure III (Katelyn), Christina Corcoran (husband Tommy), Samantha Weick (husband Stephen), Sean Walton (wife Delanie); his great grandchildren, Jenevieve, Bryce, Anthony and a great granddaughter on the way.
Family and friends are invited to visit at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Pike Creek on December 16, 2024 from 9:00 – 10:00AM. A remembrance service will begin at 10:00AM, followed by interment at Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. DuPont Highway, New Castle.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Robert may be made to the Cancer Research Institute.
