Robert "Robbie William Lee Sr.

Robert "Robbie" William Lee, Sr. peacefully returned home with his Lord and Savior on Friday, January 3, 2014. He leaves behind the love of his life and very devoted wife, Sherry Bernard Lee. He is survived by his caring mother, Janice Lee Parrino (Ed), and is the son of the late Thomas J. Lee. Robbie was a loving and proud father of five children, Robert W. Lee, Jr. (April), Michael P. Lee, Sr., Brad V. Lee (Stacey), Rachelle Lee Butler (Brent), and Ashley Lee (Alex). Robbie was most proud of his five grandchildren, Mallory, Michael, Hailey, Alyssa, and Jason Lee, and three step grandchildren, Cameron, Allissa, and Dakota. Robbie was a loving big brother to Sylvia Lee Mantia (Anthony) and Frank Lee. Robbie is also survived by his sister-in-law, Chantel Vaida (Ramon), mother-in-law, Portia Roberts, and his aunt, Andrea Callais. Robbie also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He loved his job at Bollinger Shipyard, and loved being outdoors whether it was fishing, hunting, or tending to his garden. Everyone loved Robbie's cooking, especially his "Famous Gumbo". Join us for a Christian Service to celebrate the life of the man we all love, and will dearly miss on Thursday, January 9, 2014, at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans.
