Dearest Legacy Family, Bob and I worked together to protect his beloved "adopted" son to thrive. Though he did not adopt this young man "legally" Bob showed as much empathy and compassion as would any true father. When seeking social justice, Bob's passion was inexhaustible. I am going to miss you Bob. Rest well and see you when I get there.

I first met Bob through CYO basketball in 1978. Bob lived and breathed Holy Trinity CYO Basketball. We were all gym rats back then and he allowed us the opportunity to play. Myself and Tommy Domicoli would always kid around with Bob and he knew how to get back at us. Being new to the area Bob adopted FDR as his high school and us being Arlington boys we always had our differences. Bob certainly did so much for our community and he will never be forgotten. I am glad the gym was dedicated to him at Holy Trinity, a well deserved honor. When I learned of his passing I could not help but think back to all those years and how blessed I was to have gotten to know him. You will be missed my friend, God Bless and May you Rest in Peace! Love and Respect Martin MCQuade
