Robert “Bob” LeMay, 87, of Shrewsbury, formally of Worcester, passed away peacefully, Sunday, September 1st, 2024.
Bob was born in Worcester, October 20,1936, the son of Alphonse and Gertrude (Buccico) LeMay.
His beloved wife of 50 years, Marie F. (Morrone) LeMay passed away in 2010. Bob is survived by his loving children, Robert J. LeMay of Watertown, CT, Gina M. Mercuri and her husband David of Shrewsbury, his adored grandsons, Nicholas J. Mercuri and Dean J. LeMay; a loving niece Cindy Rodriguez and husband Paul of Uxbridge and their sons, Andrew, Pete and Jim; other nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Bob devoted his life to his wife and family. He worked hard his whole life starting at a young age and ended a 45-year career working at Spag’s with retirement. He enjoyed fishing, yard sales, gardening and especially loved attending and watching his grandsons sporting events. Bob was always there to help his friends and family.
A period of calling hours will be held Saturday, September 7, 2024, from 10:00 am to 12 Noon followed by a prayer service in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.
