Lenehan, Robert Leigh "Bob" age 92 of Tipp City left this world on Sunday, August 3, 2025 at Hospice of Miami County, Troy. Bob was born in Montgomery County, Dayton, Ohio on March 17, 1933 to the late Earl Lenehan, Sr. and Mary Jane {Mogle} Lenehan. Bob is survived by his wife, Wanda Kay {Kueterman}, who he married on October 24, 1959 in Darke County, Ohio. Bob is also survived by two daughters and sons-in-law Terri Lynn (Galen) Ginder of Zionsville, Indiana and Tracey Kay (Robert) Riepenhoff of Cincinnati, Ohio. Additionally, he is survived by nine grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren and one brother Jon and sister-in-law Vivian Lenehan of Dayton, Ohio and sister-in-law Carole Lenehan of Huber Heights, Ohio. He is preceded in death by two brothers Earl, Jr. and Thomas. Bob graduated from Tippecanoe High School, Tipp City, Ohio in 1951. Additionally, he graduated from Ohio University, Athens, Ohio in 1959 and obtained a Master's Degree from Indiana University in 1980. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Tipp City Historical Society and The American Legion Post #586. As a previous member of Englewood Sister City, he and Wanda visited Billerbeck, Germany and hosted German families several times. Bob was a United States Army Veteran of the 11th Airborne Division during the Korean War. His working career after marriage began at Wright Patterson Air Force Base and consisted primarily of working in Research & Development Contracting for 32 years. He began as a GS-7 trainee buyer/negotiator and progressed to Division Chief, Manager, GM-14. Two major awards he received were the Meritorious Civilian Award in 1985 with silver medal and the Meritorious Career Service Award with gold medal in 1991. Bob and Wanda took many family vacations spending time in nearly all the United States. Bob loved watching sports, playing golf and cards with family and friends.

A visitation will be held 10:00 AM until time of Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 AM Monday, August 11, 2025 at Zion Lutheran Church, 14 W. Walnut St., Tipp City, Ohio 45371. Pastor Jaren Summers officiating. Interment will be held at a later date at Dayton National Cemetery. The family suggests that anyone wishing to make a memorial contribution in Robert's honor to please consider, Ohio's Hospice of Miami County, 3230 N. Co. Rd. 25A, Troy, Ohio 45373 or Zion Lutheran Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Frings and Bayliff Funeral Home, Tipp City. Online condolences may be expressed at www.fringsandbayliff.com.
