Robert F. Loughner

Robert F. Loughner, 87, of Penn Township, passed away Monday, April 11, 2022, at Golden Heights Personal Care. He was born Aug. 19, 1934, in Jeannette, a son of the late Henry and Chelsea (Klingensmith) Loughner. Bob worked at Greensburg Block Co. for many years prior to his owning and operating Loughner Hardware for over 10 years. He was a life member of Claridge Volunteer Fire Department, liked woodworking, hunting and fishing, and was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates fan. Bob is survived by two sons, Rich (Lori) Loughner and Ron (Linda) Loughner; four grandchildren, Sarah Loughner, Matt Loughner, Chelsea (fiance Tim Cook) Loughner and Lindsay (Joshua) Kotchey; a brother, Kenneth (late Judy) Loughner; his special friend, Gladys Krohe; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Dolores Joan "Dolly" Loughner, in 2003. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 13 from at LINDSAY-JOBE FUNERAL HOME INC., 3343 Route 130, Harrison City, 724-744-2721, where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 14.
