Robert E Luck

Robert E. Luck, 89 of Greenwood, IN passed away unexpectedly November 7, 2024.
A Beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be deeply missed by all of those who knew him.
Robert was born August 25, 1935, in Anderson, Indiana where he spent his childhood years. He started June 1952 as a sack clerk with Standard Grocery. He then worked his way up to store manager, supervisor, district manager and produce buyer for a total of 53 years which included Super Standard, Del Farm, Preston and Safeway Foods. Throughout his career he was known for his hard work, dedication, leadership and passion for helping others. He is best known for his "hats" and "whistling".
But more than anything Robert was a devoted husband and father. He was always there to offer guidance and support and encouragement no matter what the challenges they faced.
His hobbies were traveling, watching Pacers, Colts, WWE and "Gunsmoke", and he always enjoyed reading. One of his favorite pass times was going out to lunch or dinner with family and friends and spending time with his coffee buddies a Panera.
Robert is survived by his devoted wife of 52 years, Dianna; daughters Victoria (Mike) Reese, Julia Ford, son; Rick (Karol) Luck, 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and a niece Judy (Bob) Holland. He was preceded by his parents, Clarence Luck and Ruth Quick and sisters Betty and Winifred.
Visitation will be Friday November 15, 2024, from 11am-1pm at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Greenwood Chapel, 481 W. Main Street, Greenwood with Funeral service at 1 pm. Burial to follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
In leiu of flowers donations can be made to the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society of the Epilepsy Foundation.
