I was deeply saddened to hear of the loss of President Ludwig. I worked with him in Public Affairs and learned of his wisdom and constant support. He was amazing. Then he served as Counselor in the Denver Temple Presidency and as a Sealer. It was always a joy to see his smile and appreciate his constant support wherever we served. He was wonderful as was his sweet wife. I did not work as much with her but felt her love and constant support. President Ludwig will be missed but we will love our memories of his special smile and great desire to build the kindgom.

Dear Sister Ludwig...I am sorry to hear of President Ludwig's passing. I appreciated his kindness and wise counsel on several occasions to me when I served with both of you in Nauvoo. I have fond memories of both of you, your warm loving hospitality in your home as well as the spiritual lessons you imparted to all the missionaries serving there. May Heavenly Father comfort you and your family with his love and give you peace.

Love for others, optimism, and gratitude are indeed the hallmarks of Bob's personality. Those of us who knew Bob during the West Point years would all agree that he arrived on July 1, 1968 and graduated four years later with those same aspects of character. He was a wonderful example of a Christian man. We will miss him. Condolences to Martha, the children and grandchildren.
