I just recently learned of Bob´s passing. My condolences to Linda and family. I met Bob in 1972 and we were work teammates and flying buddies throughout the 70s, and stayed friends ever since. My first ride in a Piper Cub was with Bob when we were working on a project in Joplin, Mo. He got me hooked on airplanes and I got my private pilots license while we worked together in Fort Wayne, IN. Lots of memories, I will miss Bob´s always upbeat personality! Oshkosh won´t be the same without him....

We where neighbors, I remember the day that Gary and I heard a noise outside, Here was Bob with a chainsaw taking his airplane apart on the front lawn, that was so funny, Bob and Linda and family where great neighbors, He will be missed, my warmest thoughts go out to the family, Kathy Derousseau

Our deepest condolences to Bob's family and friends. We will miss him. He always had a smile and kind words for us. The biscuits were delicious. Time on the deck of his trailer at EAA we´re priceless.
