Dear sweet Linda and family, we are very sorry for your loss. Bob was such a great guy and conversationalist.

Bob was a kind, generous, curious, and emphathetic man who was the same caring person both off and on the air at WSBT, where he had a large and loyal audience. I had the pleasure of working with him in the late-70s/early-80s and we became life-long friends. His kindnesses to me quite literally changed the direction of my life and for that, I am eternally grateful. I loved him. Linda, you and your entire family have my deepest sympathies at this difficult time. I hope you take comfort in knowing that Bob's legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of the many people who knew him or listened to him on the air.

Great man . Had not seen Bob in 10 years . I ran in to Bob at Home Depot. We had a nice conversation. A day later he sent me an email just saying he enjoyed our visit. I listened to Bob when I was young. And had the pleasure of doing business when I was older . God bless Bob and his family.

Bob, may you rest in peace my friend. May your spirit dwell in the house of the Lord as you become reconnected with all the friends and relatives that preceded you.
Having gone to high school with you and first wife Carol (nee: Coon) then being re-united again after 50+ years with each of you has been a major Jesus hug for Nancy (nee: Loose) and myself. We wish to express our sympathy and condolences to wife Linda, the family, and to Carol Lux.
I now wish I could have spent more face to face time with Bob, what a great gentle man and friend he become.
