Pastor Rob and I goes back to high school. He and I played ball and ran together one of things I can always remember was his laugh and his smile. I will love him always

My condolences to the family I was sadden to hear this passing of Rev. Lyon. A church member Katherine Smith used to call me to work on his Anniversary program for her. He was so pleased and impressed. I appreciate that .

Recently... I was honored to preach at Lampton Baptist. Although the Pastor was grappling with his illness ... I was honored for him and his wife to be present in the worship encounter. My Prayers & Condolences to his wife, family and the Lampton Baptist Church family.

A great loss for Louisville. A dedicated minister who truly believed the words he preached. I have known Rob since he was a young man and his spiritual growth has been inspiring. We often discussed theology and discussed Catholicism vs. others beliefs. His intellect and knowledge were beyond question. Miss you my friend until we meet again.RIP

My brother! It´s hard to believe that God has taken you home. I´m so appreciative for your wisdom, prayers and support over the years. I´m going to miss your infectious laughter, optimism and enthusiasm. I´m so glad that we got to spend one last time eating fish and catching up! Love you my brother! Until we meet again...
