Wells and Cruz Family Funeral Home and Cremation Care - MishawakaRobert Alan “Bob” Mack, age 71, of Florida, formerly of South Bend, passed away unexpectedly on September 3, 2025. Bob was born September 25, 1953, in South Bend, Indiana, to the late James and Phyllis (Wyant) Mack. On June 5, 1982, he married Teena Marshall, and together they recently celebrated 43 years of marriage.
Surviving are his wife, Teena; their children, Gavin (Lauren) Mack and Kaelan (Eric) Spohn; three grandchildren, Caius Mack, Bella Spohn, and Tripp Demske, and two children from a previous marriage, Kenneth Mack and Jennifer Ochstein. He is also survived by his siblings, Janine (Ron) Clauser and John (Judy) Mack, and his father-in-law, Wayne “Red” Marshall. He was preceded in death by his parents and his mother-in-law, Joan Marshall.
Bob worked for many years as an electrician at Steel Warehouse before retiring and moving to Florida. After the move, he and Teena enjoyed trips to Disney World and traveling on cruises together. Bob had a passion for woodworking and spent much of his free time creating with his hands. He also enjoyed spending quiet moments in his garden, watching the birds, or visiting Bok Tower Gardens - a place he loved for its peaceful beauty and colorful flowers. More than anything, Bob was a proud dad and grandpa who cherished every story and accomplishment his family shared with him.
A time to gather and remember Bob’s life will be held from 1-4 pm Sunday, October 26, 2025, at Wells and Cruz Family Funeral Home in Mishawaka with a short message of comfort and a time of sharing to follow at 4pm.
