Robert Francis Mallory

Robert F. Mallory, Bob, passed away peacefully on January 9th with his only son Kyle by his side. Bob was born and raised in NJ and spent the majority of his life there with his late wife, Beverly, where they raised Kyle and built a life surrounded by family and close friends.

Bob served his country being drafted into the US Army in 1969. After being stationed in Germany, he returned to NJ where went on to earn his degree and have a 30+ year career working as an electrician maintenance technician for the United States Postal Service.

He was the rock of his family. He supported them in all aspects of life; working night shifts and overtime while still finding a way to attend all of Kyle's sporting events and acting as the primary caregiver for Beverly as she battled Parkinson's Disease.

Bob is survived by Kyle, daughter-in-law Laura and 3 grandchildren (Luke, Maeve and Logan), who he spoiled as much as he could during his visits to Tennessee.

While Bob has left us earlier than anyone expected, we take comfort knowing that he has been reunited with the love of his life, Bev.

A Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, January 17 at 11:30am at St. Catharine's Church in Glen Rock, NJ.
