Robert “Bob” Michael Maloney, age 78, passed away on November 30th, 2025 surrounded by the love of his family. Born a triplet in Youngstown, Ohio, Bob was one of ten children.
Bob dedicated over 40 years of service as the Director of Maintenance at St. Joseph Care Center and was also a proud Army veteran (Specialist 5th Class, SP5), serving bravely as a helicopter door gunner in Vietnam.
Those lucky enough to know Bob know how deeply he cared for everyone around him. He loved his weekly visits with his two closest friends, Claude Paumier and Gary Wheeling, and-above all-time spent with his family.
He is preceded in death by his siblings Cookie Pauline, Tom Maloney, his triplet siblings Bill and Barb Maloney, and his sister Mary Riebe.
He is survived by his sisters Ann DiTullio, Theresa Durkin, and Margaret Lorenzi, and his brother Tim Maloney.
Bob leaves behind a beautiful and loving family: the love of his life, Debby Hutchison, and her children, Nicky and Zach Hutchison; his son Daniel (Bridget) Maloney; his daughter Stephanie (Dennis) Garren; his grandchildren Emma Kramer, David Kramer, and Annabelle Eslich, Elizabeth (Jake) Balizet, Becca Garren, and two great-grandsons; Garrett and Mason Balizet. Bob will also be dearly missed by Bill Schumacher, Chris Wenger, Jeffery Spencer, and Julie Thompson, who spent many years with Bob and view him as a father/grandfather in their lives.
Bob will be remembered for his kindness, loyalty, humor, and the steadfast love he generously gave to all who knew him. His presence will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
Bob will be laid to rest privately at St. Joseph Cemetery in Randolph, and a celebration of his life will be planned for early 2026. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Legacy of Honor, a local organization dedicated to supporting veterans, first responders, and their families.
