Hey DAD,

I just wnated to tell you how much I love you. Your everything that a son cold have ever wanted in a father and a friend.



I'll always remenber the times that we spent bullhead fishing out on the big rock behind B+B electric when you would say "vear mar jee so pish" (come on bit this fish).I'll never forget thw good times that we had down in florida and how much you enjoyed going out on the air boats & go carts with Todd and I.



I'll always remember how cotey could make you glow with happiness at any given moment and how you always had eought energy to pickup cotey and make him laught no matter how much your back hurt that day.



I have just one request and that is to be as good of a dad to my kid when I have them and you where to us kids.



PS. You want to go bullhead fishig on saturday

Dear Dad, I don't know where to begin. You were my hero and my friend. You were the perfect father. More than a girl could ever ask for. What you and Mom had was a gift. My heart is broken. I wish I could hug you one more time. What I wouldn't do to hear you say "have you hugged your father today?".You've been gone 11days 22hrs. and 6min. I feel like you should be walking threw the door any minute. Coming over to visit Cotey. This just doesn't seem real. Your not suppose to be gone yet. Cotey wont remember you. Please come back. If there were anyway I could take your place I would. Knowing it's not possible, I beg you to show me a sign that your okay. I've been waiting and I'll keep waiting. I'll never forget you Dad. My father was one of the most thoughtful, loving and caring people I know. He always knew how to make you laugh. That is one of the things I will miss about him. Even though you are not with us now, I am glad I was able share in the memories we do have with you. Bob, I will do everything I can to take care of your son and to watch over your family. If there is anyone I know, you are still living life after death. "Every step I take, every move I make, every single day everytime I pray I'll be missing you." "Thinking of the day, when you went away, what a life to take what a bond to break, I'll be missing you."

You have been an inspiration to many people. You have touched lives without even knowing it. I have many fond memories, and I will treasure them always.

Bob this one is for you;

Oh Lord, won't you buy me a Mercedes Benz? My friends all drive Porsches, I must make amends. Worked hard all my lifetime, no help from my friends, So Lord, won't you buy me a Mercedes Benz?

I found it hard to believe when told by a mutual friend that Bob had passed on, that it was actually true. I had recently worked just a few houses down from his home in Woodstock on a walkway project. I realized at that moment that a person had passed that I had nothing but fond memories of. He was always good to me and generous, and he never had a bad word to say to me. He was charming, a personality that was one I won't easily forget. His family ... a very loving wife and beautiful children whom I never heard him speak badly of and whom clearly loved their father. I could feel the love in the air when in his home. I first met him through a friend when he was in transition in his life, still trying to find his place, living just at the bottom of Walnut Street hill. I am one who is familiar with transitions, and I will remember Bob as an example of someone who found his place and success, this being sales, as surely Bob was a point of light in this field. And I remember hearing him sing a song as he played guitar that went "Kiss an angel good morning . . . ". I extend my deepest regards to Bob Manis and his family for being people I will always remember as good and as friendly, a legacy that will last forever in my heart.

I wish I had met Mr. Manis before he came into the hospital. I could tell that he must have been a wonderful man seeing that his family was very special. How lucky the Manis family was to have such a wonderful man in their lives. My thoughts and prayers are with each one of you, Nancy, Todd, Brian, Bobby Jo, Rick and everyone I did not have the opportunity to meet. Peace to all. Pray to your angel, he will help you.
