One of the nicest persons I have ever known. So sorry about his death. He helped me become not only a better physician, but a better person.

I remember Dr. Mann very well. He was always kind. He always called me Ms. Rico even though he knew my name was Rizzo.

Bob Mann was a man for all seasons, a true gentleman and everything a physician should be.

The day we moved into Sandbridge, from Bob´s "cottage," he welcomed us with donuts from the Sandbridge Market and an always-open door. When he learned that our daughter went to UNC-Chapel Hill we felt like we were somehow related. He cheered us on at every point. His legacy is truly immense - but the most so in the vibrant, loving family he and Bev developed - welcoming, loving, inclusive, caring, engaging, smart, interesting, fun, celebratory and sportive one and all. We are truly blessed to have met each of the Manns (including grands) and know that Bob continues to orchestrate the positive outlooks in our lives.
