“Bobby Lee”
Loving husband, father, son, grandfather, brother, and friend went home to be with our Lord and Savior on August 29, 2023 at the age of 53.
He was born in Albuquerque New Mexico on April 29, 1970, to Robert and Linda Marquez.
Robert adored his family and loved spending time with them. He also enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing, motorcycles, cars, trucks, traveling, wood working, landscaping, residential painting, building/remodeling, going to concerts, movies, the casino, and most of all, playing with his grandchildren and puppies.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother; Mary Saiz, and grandparents; Remigio and Mable Marquez.
Robert is survived by his wife, Monica Marquez; daughters, Pricilla Marquez (Edward Archuleta) and Miranda (Ralph Diaz Jr.); sons, Robert Marquez Jr. (Carmella Lucero), Marcus Medina (Selena Cde Baca), Dakota Marquez (Angelina Maldonado), Ryan Medina; grandchildren, Zechariah Inmon, Deeanna Archuleta, Ahlieus Archuleta, Versigh Archuleta, Raymond Diaz, Carlos Diaz, Nicolas Diaz, Sophia Diaz, Deztiny Marquez, Izaiah Marquez, Jazmine Marquez, Joziah Marquez, Isaac Medina, Dakota Marquez Jr, Jeremiah Marquez, Elijah Marquez; father and mother, Robert and Linda Marquez; grandfather, Frank Saiz; brother, Travis Marquez; Aunts, Rosemary Stockton and Charlotte “Charlie” Land; nephew, Gabriel Lopez; nieces, Liana Lopez, Renee Silkworth, Lily Maldonado; mother and father-in-law, Vicky and Rick Jojola; grandparent-in-laws, Mel and Bernice Archuleta; sister-in-law, Anita Jojola (and family); sister & brother-in-law, Nicole & Manny Lopez (and family); and his pets, Cocoa and Thor Marquez.
When Robert was asked “How are you doing?” or “What’s new?” his response was always “Living the dream.”
Robert will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.
Celebration of life will take place at Daniels Family Funeral Home – Southern Chapel on Monday, September 11, 2023 from 4:00-7:00 pm.
A Rosary will be recited at San Ysidro Catholic Church, Corrales NM on Tuesday September 19, 2023 at 9:30am Mass of Christian burial to follow at 10:00am at San Ysidro Catholic Church, Corrales NM, with a reception following at the San Ysidro Parish Hall.
